The BJP criticised the CM Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal after a student was allegedly gang-raped at a law college in Kolkata. "The horror of RG Kar hasn’t faded, and yet such heinous crimes continue to rise daily in Bengal," BJP's Amit Malviya said. "Under Mamata Banerjee’s rule, West Bengal has become a nightmare for women," he added.
