India all-rounder Amanjot Kaur, who took South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt's catch in the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 final, was once a skater and hockey player, as per FPJ. Her father, Bhupinder Singh, is a carpenter and woodwork contractor. Initially trained as a bowler, her coach, Nagesh Gupta, spotted her natural bat swing and helped her become an all-rounder.
