After a 15-year-old girl was set on fire in Odisha's Puri, the Supreme Court said on Monday, "We are in shame and it is unfortunate that these incidents are still taking place." The apex court asked for suggestions on steps "to empower the schoolgirls, homemakers, children in rural areas." The girl is undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi.
