The Supreme Court on Monday said it'll deal with digital arrest scams, which particularly target the elderly, with "iron hands". Noting that victims in India have been cheated out of ₹3,000 crore, the court called the cases "very shocking" and said, "If we falter or ignore...the problem will worsen." The court added it'll pass appropriate directions after a brief hearing.
