Amazon CEO Andy Jassy hinted at more job cuts at the e-commerce company amid its shift to generative AI. In a memo addressed to employees, Jassy wrote, "As we roll out more Generative AI...we will need fewer people doing some of the jobs that are being done today." He expects a reduction in Amazon's total corporate workforce in coming years.
