Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said, "We will prioritise the treatment of the injured....Compensation will be given from the Railways...and the government to the people who have lost their lives." His remark came after at least five people were feared dead when over 10 fell off an overcrowded local train near Mumbai. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
