Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav said people might take to streets in India just like what happened in our neighbouring countries, if vote 'chori' (theft) continues. "It's the Election Commission's responsibility to ensure that no vote is stolen anywhere," he added. Yadav's comments come in the backdrop of Gen-Z and student protests toppling regimes in Nepal and Bangladesh respectively.
