Amid threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi over the alleged poaching of blackbucks by Salman Khan in 1998, the actor's father and veteran screenwriter Salim Khan said, "We have never even killed any cockroach...We do not believe in these things." When asked if Salman would apologise, he replied, "Apologising means admitting. Salman never killed any animal."
