Two former senior Air India flight attendants have written to PM Narendra Modi, alleging they were fired after they refused to alter their statements about a malfunction in a Boeing 787 Dreamliner door in May 2024, Times of India reported. They said the aircraft's slide raft deployed unexpectedly. They also alleged that both Air India and DGCA suppressed the incident.
