West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee appealed for peace to people of Bengal on Monday, saying that while citizens have every right to protest, no one should take law into their own hands. "To protect law, we have custodians and do not need any demon," she added. Her remark came after violence incident occurred in the state over Waqf Amendment Act.
