Russia’s Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, Konstantin Mogilevsky, said that Russia wants more of its students to study Hindi. "India is world's most populous country today, and more Indians are starting to use Hindi in their daily lives than English...We need to respond to this," he added. "The number of students enrolled in Hindi is increasing," he said.
