A hacking group called Akira launched a ransomware attack on a 158-year-old UK logistics firm, KNP, by guessing an employee's weak password. The attackers encrypted the company's data and locked internal systems. The cyberattack led to the closure of the Northamptonshire-based company, resulting in the loss of around 700 jobs.
