Last week, the Supreme Court pronounced 31 important judgments. The most important ones relate to the granting of ₹50 lakh alimony as one-time settlement to the wife, remanding BJP MLA Tankadhar Tripathy’s election dispute case to Orissa High Court, and proposing to expand the scope of stray dogs’ matter beyond the confines of New Delhi and the NCR region.
