Goa Police on Friday seized 5.75 kg of ambergris (whale vomit) worth ₹10 crore from three persons in a car from South Goa. The police have arrested three people, Sainath Shet, Ratnakant Karapurkar and Yogesh Redkar. The sale of whale vomit, an ingredient used in the perfume industry, is banned under the Wildlife (Protection) Act of 1972.
