Election Commission on Sunday announced 17 new initiatives for upcoming Bihar Assembly polls, which will later be implemented across India. The initiatives include colour photographs of candidates on EVM, mobile deposit facilities outside polling booths, and a maximum of 1,200 voters at one polling station. It also includes the counting of postal ballots before final two rounds of EVM counting.
