FIA has declared a "heat hazard" for the Singapore Grand Prix 2025, allowing drivers to wear cooling vests to combat extreme heat and humidity. Temperatures are expected to reach 31°C with humidity above 75%. The system works by pumping a coolant through thin tubes stitched into the vest. Drivers can still opt out, but they'll need to carry extra ballast.
