PM Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first cable-stayed railway bridge, the Anji Khad Bridge, in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. The bridge, which connects the Katra Banihal section of the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Line, was built using 8,200 metric tonnes of structural steel. Towering 331 metres above the riverbed and stretching 725 metres across, it's anchored by 96 high-tensile cables.
