In its modified order on stray dogs in Delhi-NCR, the Supreme Court stated that stray dogs should be released in the same area they were picked up from after sterilisation, deworming and immunisation. However, dogs with aggressive behaviour or with rabies shouldn't be released. The court banned people from public feeding of stray dogs, except at spots designated by MCD.
