Kerala Finance Minister KN Balagopal presented the state's 2025-26 Budget on Friday. He announced that ₹50 crore will be allocated to make Kerala a health hub. Further, ₹750 crore has been allocated for rebuilding landslide-hit Wayanad. The state government has increased the land tax by 50%. Tax for electric and private vehicles older than 15 years have also been hiked.
