PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Manipur Urban Road Project, worth over ₹3,600 crore and Manipur Info-Tech Development Project, worth over ₹500 crore in Imphal. "These projects will strengthen road infrastructure in Imphal and infuse new energy into Manipur's bright future," he added. He also inaugurated four 'Ima' (mothers) markets and announced development of five government colleges in Imphal West.
