PM Narendra Modi said that 25 crore people, known as 'neo-middle class', have come out of poverty in the last 11 years. He also noted the government presented the "gift" of ₹12 lakh tax-free income this year. "Now...poor, neo-middle class and middle class are receiving a double bonanza.
