US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the $100,000 (₹88 lakh) H-1B visa fees will deter Big Tech companies from training foreign workers as it won't be economic. "Stop bringing in people to take our jobs. That's our policy here...All big companies are on board," Lutnick said. The hiked fee will raise over $100 billion for the US Treasury, he added.
