When asked a question about the lack of Muslim representation in Union Cabinet, BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar said Muslims were not voting for the party. He said the Cabinet had no Muslim ministers because there were no Muslim MPs. He defended the BJP, pointing to BJP's Muslim representatives in past like ex-ministers Shahnawaz Hussain and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
