As retail inflation in August rose to 2.07%, the prices of coconut oil, coconut, gold, silver, and mustard oil saw the biggest hikes at 133%, 73%, 40%, 32%, and 24%, respectively. Refined oil and tomatoes saw 23% and 17% rise in prices, respectively. Prices of onions, potatoes, and arhar-toor pulses saw the biggest drops at 39%, 37%, and 29%, respectively.
