Southern Rice Black-Streaked Dwarf Virus has affected 92,000 out of 40 lakh acres of sown paddy crop in Haryana, the state's Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana said. The most affected districts are Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Kaithal, and Yamunanagar. The paddy-dwarfing virus causes stunted growth and poor yield.
