India is insisting on a mandatory certification to ensure the imported product isn't 'non-veg milk', milk from cows that are fed animal-based products like meat or blood, amid the ongoing trade deal talks with US, reports said. India termed this as a "non-negotiable red line". Notably, US wants India to open its dairy market, which employs over 8 crore people.
