An F1 pit stop is a quick process wherein up to 20 trained mechanics work on the car after it enters its pit box. They're responsible for stabilising the vehicle, changing the tyres, making adjustments to the aerodynamics, and safely releasing it. Mid-race refuelling was banned in 2010 for safety reasons, so F1 cars no longer refuel during pit stops.
