Canadian government introduced a new citizenship bill which removes existing limit on citizenship by descent. The bill will grant citizenship to children born abroad to Canadian nationals living abroad, provided they've lived in Canada for at least 1,095 cumulative days before the child's birth. The bill is expected to benefit Indian diaspora as Donald Trump tightens immigration policies in US.
