India Post has unveiled a new digital addressing system called DIGIPIN or Digital Postal Index Number. DIGIPIN is a unique 10-digit code that shows the exact location of a property, unlike PIN codes, which cover larger areas. DIGIPIN, derived from a location's latitude and longitude, will help in areas where no clear address exists like rural regions, forests, and oceans.
