The Extended Range Anti-Submarine Rocket (ERASR) which was successfully test fired from INS Kavaratti has twin-rocket motor configuration to meet a wide spectrum of range requirements with high accuracy and consistency. ERASR, which is made in India, has been designed and developed for indigenous rocket launcher (IRL) of Indian Naval Ships. It uses an indigenously developed Electronic Time Fuze.
