Defence Minister Rajnath Singh referenced the concept of 'game theory' while explaining Operation Sindoor in the Rajya Sabha. Game Theory is a mathematical concept used for strategic decision-making in scenarios where one party's actions depend on the choices of others, in order to maximise the payoffs (outcomes). Singh's reference came in the context of India analysing Pakistan's "nuclear bluff".
