Gucchi mushroom is a sponge-like mushroom that grows in areas of Jammu and Kashmir during the spring season. It is considered a superfood and is used in dishes like pulao, biryanis and soups and has a distinct earthy and rich flavour. Gucchi mushrooms are low in fat and calories but rich in protein, carbohydrates, and essential vitamins and minerals.
