In retaliation to Israel's Operation Rising Lion, Iran launched Operation True Promise III and fired over 150 ballistic missiles at Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. It's the third operation in a series of retaliatory military operations against Israel, earlier conducted in April and October 2024. Iran defines it as commitment to fulfil its intentions of defending its sovereignty.
