Indian Railways operated the country's longest freight train, 'Rudrastra', from UP's Ganj Khwaja station to Jharkhand's Garhwa Road station today. The train is about 4.5 kilometres long, formed by linking six standard rakes into one unit. Two engines were attached in front, and one with each rack after every 59 bogies. Seven engines were used to steer the 345 wagons.
