Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym used by the person or group who created Bitcoin and released the original Bitcoin white paper in 2008. Though Nakamoto's true identity remains largely unknown, an HBO documentary once speculated it could be Canadian software developer Peter Todd. However, Todd denied the claim. According to reports, Nakamoto has become the world's 12th richest person.
