Neuralink, founded in 2016 by Elon Musk, developed a brain chip that records signals from brain and sends them wirelessly to computer. Using artificial intelligence, it decodes what the person intends to do, like moving a cursor or typing letters, and turns them into actions on screen. The chip has been implanted into the brains of at least five patients.
