Night Eating Syndrome (NES) is when a person wakes up several times in the middle of the night to eat. Symptoms include consuming more than 25% of daily food intake after dinner and before breakfast and craving foods high in calories, carbohydrates or sugar at night. It also involves skipping breakfast or delaying the first meal until the afternoon.
