The Panchsheel pact, which Chinese President Xi Jinping mentioned in meeting with PM Narendra Modi, is a set of principles introduced by India and China in 1954. The principles in pact include mutual respect for each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty, mutual non-aggression, mutual non-interference in each other's internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence.
