American firm InventWood has unveiled Superwood, a revolutionary material 10 times stronger and 6 times lighter than steel. Developed by materials scientist Liangbing Hu after a decade of research, the innovation uses chemical treatment to densify natural wood fibers. CEO Alex Lau said Superwood can build lighter, earthquake-resistant houses.
