Triacetone triperoxide (TATP) was used in the Delhi car blast, News18 reported, citing sources. Known as the 'mother of Satan', TATP is a highly volatile primary explosive, and it is extremely sensitive to impact, shock, friction and heat, according to the National Library of Medicine. It can also explode spontaneously. It's often mixed with other chemicals to make improvised explosives.
