Yellow, white and rose gold differ by the metals alloyed with pure gold. Yellow gold combines gold with silver and copper for a warm hue. White gold mixes gold with palladium or silver and is usually rhodium-plated for shine. Rose gold contains more copper, giving it a pink tint. However, all three contain the same gold purity.
