The members of the Druze community are Arabs and follow a faith that's an offshoot of Shia Islam. They live in Syria, Lebanon and Israel, where they are loyal to the Israeli state, considering their high presence in the Israeli military. After the fall of Bashar al-Assad, the Druze community resisted Syria's attempts to impose authority over Syria's southern region.
