Every person, who isn't a native of Lakshadweep, requires a permit to enter into and reside in the islands. Only government officials and armed force members and their family members are exempted. Indians can apply for permit online by visiting https://epermit.utl.gov.in, or offline by downloading a form from Lakshadweep Administration's website and submitting them to Kavaratti Collector's office.
