According to Ministry of Defence the theme for this year's Independence Day is "Naya Bharat", it reflects India's vision of becoming a prosperous, secure, and self-reliant nation by 2047 under the "Viksit Bharat" mission. It celebrates the country's progress, bold spirit, and achievements, with a special focus on success of Operation Sindoor, symbolising national strength and unity.
