The Uttarakhand government has issued an alert after 28 cases of "tomato flu" were found in the state. Tomato flu, officially known as Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD), is a viral infection caused by the Coxsackievirus. HFMD usually occurs in infants and children; however, adults with weak immunity may become infected.
