During discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, India strongly raised the issue of terrorism, including cross-border terrorism, recalling that one of the original objectives of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation was to counter terrorism. India underlined concerns with regard to mega dam construction being undertaken by China in lower reaches of the Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra river).
