During PM Narendra Modi's visit to Japan, India and Japan agreed on a 10-year strategic prioritisation for economic and functional cooperation. They agreed on human resource exchange and on implementing arrangement between ISRO and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency concerning Joint Lunar Polar Exploration Mission. The countries also agreed to promote cooperation in the field of art and culture.
