The hospital construction scam in which ED raided AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj's residence on Tuesday dates to 2018-2019 when the AAP-led Delhi government approved projects worth ₹5,590 crore for the construction of 24 hospitals. The ED registered a case under PMLA after the construction costs of the projects increased highly, and they were not completed within the stipulated time.
