A letter, signed by the four Hinduja brothers Srichand, Gopichand, Prakash and Ashok in 2014, had caused a rift between the family that controls the 111-year-old Hinduja Group. The letter, which stated that everything belongs to everyone, caused a rift in 2020 when Srichand's daughter challenged its enforceability. The family settled the dispute in 2023 with Srichand's death.
