India will play a Test match without any of Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane or Rohit Sharma for the first time since the Oval Test in August 2011. In that Test, India were led by MS Dhoni and their XI featured the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Amit Mishra.
